Abstract:

A film about a tugboat in the port of Rotterdam. Splitscreen HD/9 min.

Three men: a captain, an engineer and a sailor, working in their own micro-world. Habits, working methods and the hierarchical system among the crew members reflect the social architecture of the environment. The adaptability and degree of cooperation determines the progress of the operation. The outcome depends on the interaction between the crew members. The capacity of the whole is dependent on the smallest details.
